SERVICES
Thrive Physiotherapy is driven to help you achieve the recovery, performance, and quality of life that is important to you
01
Physiotherapy
Consultations
Thrive Physiotherapists can assist with your recovery from injury, improve pain and mobility and maximise your performance through hands on therapy and exercise. We do this by setting clear goals and evidence based treatment plans following a comprehensive subjective and physical assessment.
02
Sports
Physiotherapy
Sports injuries require thorough investigation and assessment to determine the diagnosis, contributing factors and severity. This is followed by advising you how to acutely manage your injury and setting a rehab program to address any causative factors. Our aim is to ensure that you leave a better athlete compared to when you first presented.
03
Surgical
Rehabilitation
The best post-surgical outcomes are often dictated by the rehabilitation that you complete following. We are able to guide you through your entire rehab journey, from pre-surgery, the immediate days following and all the way through to your return to sport or meaningful activities.
04
Manual
Therapy
Thrive Physiotherapists utilise a combination of soft tissue massage, joint mobilisations and manipulation techniques targeted at improving movement and pain. This is designed to compliment your exercise therapy in restoring function, strength and performance.
05
Injury
prevention
Many injuries are unavoidable, however our Physiotherapists can implement many strategies to ensure that your injury risk is reduced. This is undertaken by a detailed understanding of your chosen sport or activity and it's associated risks, in combination with a thorough assessment of an individuals injury history and current capacity.
06
Paediatric
Physiotherapy
Paediatric Physiotherapy assists Children to achieve their optimal physical and neurological development. This is undertaken through specialised assessment, play based interventions, gross motor skill training, developmental programs and family education. Please note that we currently only review Children from age four and above.
07
Strength &
Conditioning
Our clinic has a specialised rehabilitation room which can be utilised to prescribe and undertake your specific strength, rehabilitation and performance programs. This room caters for all individuals with a squat and lifting rack, an Olympic lifting platform and bumper plates, clinical reformer and a wide range of different weights and power bands.
We are also trained to provide advice and prescribe tailored running programs to help you successfully return to running, run your first marathon or to simply improve your running capacity.
08
Junior Sports &
Performance Screening
Physical screenings are used to identify the current musculoskeletal condition of a junior sport participant. We utilise a battery of tests that are specifically related to your chosen sport to determine factors predisposing a junior athlete to injury or factors that could be contributing to hindrance in performance. Once these results are obtained, the junior athlete is given individualised feedback and a tailored program addressing the areas of improvement.
